our stay at mikasa beach house in baan tai was even better than our previous experience. the bungalows were clean and stylish, and we loved relaxing on the terrace and in the hammock. the staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with ferry tickets and other needs. we recommend renting scooters right in front of the hotel for an easy way to explore the island.
Shower had only cold water.

The beach house had a small restaurant right on the beach where we enjoyed great food. The owner was very friendly and even offered to drive us to a nearby pool. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially when it came to arranging extra services like laundry and motorbike rentals. Additionally, the bungalows were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious patio area and a comfortable hammock.
The beach itself was not suitable for swimming due to the abundance of stones, so we had to go elsewhere for a swim. The rooms with only fans could get quite hot, making it difficult to sleep in the morning.

The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. They even offered free coffee and tea which was a nice touch. the bungalows and the garden were well maintained and cleaned daily. the beds were also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
One downside is that there were dogs barking at night, which could be a bit disturbing for light sleepers. the absence of a proper beach with sand was a disappointment.
